So Why Theatre?
Because it is live. Alive. Real. Real Time.
Immediate. Present.
Personal.
Because unexpected things can happen. And not just on the stage.
Somewhere between light and dark, sound and silence, changes occur.
Give and take. High and low. Up and down.
Because it breathes, sings, laughs, cries, rants, sometimes preaches, often cajoles.
And just as fiercely, it receives, responds, reflects, reaches out.
Bonds us with human connection. Closes us in on truth.
Takes us away.
Because through it, we speak to one another.
We take part.
We are together at once.
We see.
